Central Rama 9 at a glance

Central Rama 9 (CentralPlaza Grand Rama 9) opened in 2011 at the corner of Rama IX and Ratchadaphisek roads in Huai Khwang, developed by Central Pattana (CPN) as the retail anchor of Bangkok's fast-growing ‘new CBD’ around Rama 9 — now ringed by Grade-A office towers including G Tower and The Nine Center.

The mall spans about 210,000 sqm of gross floor area, including roughly 97,400 sqm of retail leasable space across 12 levels, anchored by a Robinson department store, an 11-screen SF Cinema and an Olympic-size ice-skating rink — one of only a handful of full-size public ice rinks in Bangkok.

It connects directly underground to Phra Ram 9 MRT station on the Blue Line, making it one of the few Bangkok malls reachable entirely undercover from the metro, and sits at the centre of a corporate and condo corridor popular with both relocating professionals and investors.
