Chulalongkorn University is Thailand's oldest university, founded in 1917 by King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) and named in honour of his father, King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). Its large campus sits in the heart of Pathumwan, adjoining Siam Square and within walking distance of the Siam BTS interchange.
As Thailand's most established public university, Chula offers a broad range of faculties spanning medicine, engineering, law, arts, science and business, alongside a growing slate of international (English-medium) undergraduate and graduate programs, including business programs run jointly with its affiliated Sasin School of Management.
