Kasetsart University was founded in 1943 as Thailand's first agricultural university and remains the country's leading institution for agriculture, forestry, fisheries and related life sciences, while having broadened over the decades into a full comprehensive university with faculties spanning engineering, business, humanities and more.
Its main Bang Khen campus sits in Chatuchak district in northern Bangkok, near Kasetsart's own BTS-adjacent surroundings along Phahonyothin Road, and the university also operates regional campuses outside the capital.
