Krabi Polytechnic College is the state vocational college inside Krabi Town itself, at 50 Watchara Road in Krabi Yai Subdistrict, and it was missing from this site entirely until September 2026. The Ministry of Education announced its establishment on 30 May 1996, under the then Department of Vocational Education's policy of extending vocational education through short-course and special-course colleges -- which is what สารพัดช่าง ("all trades") means in the Thai name.

For a foreign resident it is probably the most immediately useful institution on this page, and for an unusual reason: alongside the ปวช. and ปวส. certificates it runs a standing programme of short public courses. The college's own course list includes driving, hairdressing, basic dressmaking, air-conditioning service and repair, bakery, Thai desserts, screen printing, therapeutic massage, fruit and vegetable carving and picture framing. These are state-priced, taught in Thai, and open to adults rather than only to enrolled students.

Its certificate departments are a fair reflection of what Krabi's economy hires for: auto mechanics, electrical power, electronics, basic technical skills, accounting, retail business, business computing and digital business technology, management, food and nutrition, fabric and dress, and hotel. At ปวส. level the college publishes evening (ภาคสมทบ) sections in electrical power, accounting and business computing -- again, built around people already in work.

It is one of the five state colleges in the Krabi provincial vocational group, and its own site publishes that group in its footer under the heading อาชีวศึกษาจังหวัดกระบี่, alongside a link to the Institute of Vocational Education: Southern Region 2.
