American (Common Core / NGSS / AERO standards) · Bang Na
Established in 2010 in Bang Na, Berkeley International School Bangkok offers an American-style programme from Pre-K through Grade 12, following Common Core standards for language arts and maths, NGSS for science and AERO standards for social studies, with a college-preparatory Advanced Placement track in the high school years.
Address: Debaratna (Bangna-Trad) Road, Bang Na Nuea, Bang Na, Bangkok
A compact but well-equipped eastern campus — an Olympic-size pool, a 450-seat theatre, a tennis dome and a gymnasium are the facilities the school highlights.
Getting there: No station at the gate. The campus is off Debaratna Road in Bang Na, minutes from Sukhumvit Road by car; BTS Bang Na and Udom Suk are the nearest rail but a feeder ride away.
Bangkok school runs are decided by traffic, not distance. Cross-check with the Bangkok getting-around guide and the BTS and MRT network before you commit to a neighbourhood.

Accreditation is the closest thing to an objective quality signal in international schooling — it means an outside body has inspected governance, teaching and safeguarding. BAANLYY does not rank schools, so this is what Berkeley International School Bangkok and its accrediting bodies publish, not our verdict:
Boarding: Day school — no boarding.
Scale: A small school by Bangkok standards — reported at roughly 400 students from around 32 nationalities, which means small classes and a high Western-enrolment share. Roll and nationality figures move every year and schools report them differently — treat these as indicative and ask the admissions office for the current numbers.
Families who want a small American school with genuinely small cohorts, and eastern-Sukhumvit households already living around Bang Na.
This is our editorial read for relocation planning, not a ranking or a recommendation — and no school pays to appear on BAANLYY. Visit shortlisted campuses before you decide.
Berkeley sits in the same eastern belt as Patana and Concordian, so the Bang Na and On Nut condo and housing markets are the catchment.
Check the school's bus catchment before you sign — a home that looks close on a map can sit outside the route, and a home on the route can be twenty minutes further away and still be the easier morning.
BAANLYY deliberately does not publish per-school tuition figures: they change annually, schools publish their own current schedules, and a stale number is worse than none. Take this list to the admissions office:
