Bangkok · International school profile

Concordian International School.

A trilingual full-IB World School on the Bangna-Trad Highway in Samut Prakan, on Bangkok's eastern edge. Concordian runs English and Chinese immersion from Pre-K through Grade 5, then an English-medium IB pathway with continued Chinese and Thai study through Grade 12 — a distinctive option for families prioritising Mandarin alongside an international curriculum.

Campus

The campus, and how you actually get there

Address: 918 Moo 8, Bangna-Trad Road Km. 7, Bang Kaeo, Bang Phli, Samut Prakan

A purpose-built campus on the Bangna-Trad corridor, positioned for the eastern suburbs and airport-side families rather than the city centre.

Getting there: No rail at the campus. It sits on the Bangna-Trad highway in Samut Prakan — quick to Suvarnabhumi Airport by road, but a drive or school bus from anywhere in Bangkok.

Bangkok school runs are decided by traffic, not distance. Cross-check with the Bangkok getting-around guide and the BTS and MRT network before you commit to a neighbourhood.

Academics

The curriculum pathway

How a child progresses through the school, stage by stage:

Standing

Accreditation & memberships

Accreditation is the closest thing to an objective quality signal in international schooling — it means an outside body has inspected governance, teaching and safeguarding. BAANLYY does not rank schools, so this is what Concordian International School and its accrediting bodies publish, not our verdict:

Community

Boarding and the size of the school

Boarding: Day school — no boarding.

Scale: Reported at around 1,100 students, with a Mandarin-motivated cohort that gives the school a different profile from its British and American neighbours. Roll and nationality figures move every year and schools report them differently — treat these as indicative and ask the admissions office for the current numbers.

Fit

Who this school tends to suit

Families who want genuine Mandarin fluency alongside the IB, Chinese-speaking and regional families, and eastern-suburb or airport-side households.

This is our editorial read for relocation planning, not a ranking or a recommendation — and no school pays to appear on BAANLYY. Visit shortlisted campuses before you decide.

Where to live

Living near Concordian International School

Concordian is technically in Samut Prakan. The eastern Sukhumvit tail and Bang Na are the realistic catchment.

Bang NaSamut Prakan city guide

Check the school's bus catchment before you sign — a home that looks close on a map can sit outside the route, and a home on the route can be twenty minutes further away and still be the easier morning.

Due diligence

What to confirm directly with the school

BAANLYY deliberately does not publish per-school tuition figures: they change annually, schools publish their own current schedules, and a stale number is worse than none. Take this list to the admissions office:
