Campus

The campus, and how you actually get there

Address: 45 Soi Kosumruamchai 14, Don Mueang, Bangkok

A spacious northern campus of roughly 35 acres — lake, playing fields and boarding houses on a footprint no central school can offer.

Getting there: No BTS or MRT at the campus. Don Mueang is served by the SRT Red Line commuter rail and Don Mueang Airport, but the school itself is a road journey from either — boarding and the school bus network exist precisely because of this.

Bangkok school runs are decided by traffic, not distance. Cross-check with the Bangkok getting-around guide and the BTS and MRT network before you commit to a neighbourhood.

Academics

The curriculum pathway

How a child progresses through the school, stage by stage:

Standing

Accreditation & memberships

Accreditation is the closest thing to an objective quality signal in international schooling — it means an outside body has inspected governance, teaching and safeguarding. BAANLYY does not rank schools, so this is what Harrow International School Bangkok and its accrediting bodies publish, not our verdict:

Community

Boarding and the size of the school

Boarding: Day and boarding. Boarding provision is offered from the Prep years upward — one of the few genuine boarding options in Bangkok.

Scale: Reported in the range of 1,600–1,850 students across roughly 36 nationalities. Roll and nationality figures move every year and schools report them differently — treat these as indicative and ask the admissions office for the current numbers.

Fit

Who this school tends to suit

Families committed to the British A-level route, those wanting boarding in Thailand, and northern-Bangkok or regionally-based families for whom a weekly boarding pattern beats a daily commute.

This is our editorial read for relocation planning, not a ranking or a recommendation — and no school pays to appear on BAANLYY. Visit shortlisted campuses before you decide.

Where to live

Living near Harrow International School Bangkok

Northern Bangkok is a thinner rental market than Sukhumvit, and the honest answer for many Harrow families is boarding or a northern-suburb house rather than a condo.

Lak SiChatuchak

Check the school's bus catchment before you sign — a home that looks close on a map can sit outside the route, and a home on the route can be twenty minutes further away and still be the easier morning.

Due diligence

What to confirm directly with the school

BAANLYY deliberately does not publish per-school tuition figures: they change annually, schools publish their own current schedules, and a stale number is worse than none. Take this list to the admissions office:
