The campus, and how you actually get there

Address: Bangkok campus: 999/123 Pracha Uthit Road, Samsen Nok, Huai Khwang, Bangkok. Reignwood Park campus: 888/99 Lam Sai, Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani.

A mid-sized city campus in Huai Khwang, plus a separate, much larger day-and-boarding campus at Reignwood Park in Lam Luk Ka that opened to students in August 2024.

Getting there: The Bangkok campus is off Pracha Uthit Road in Huai Khwang — MRT Blue Line stations at Huai Khwang and Thailand Cultural Centre are the nearest rail, but not walkable from the gate for a young child; most families drive or use the bus. The Reignwood Park campus in Pathum Thani has no rail link at all.

Bangkok school runs are decided by traffic, not distance. Cross-check with the Bangkok getting-around guide and the BTS and MRT network before you commit to a neighbourhood.

Boarding and the size of the school

Boarding: The Bangkok campus is a day school. Boarding is associated with the newer Reignwood Park campus — confirm current provision directly.

Scale: Deliberately smaller than the big British campuses; families choose KIS partly for the close-knit scale. Roll and nationality figures move every year and schools report them differently — treat these as indicative and ask the admissions office for the current numbers.

Who this school tends to suit

Families who want the full IB continuum in a smaller community, and those based around Ratchada, Rama 9 and the MRT Blue Line rather than Sukhumvit.

Living near KIS International School

The Blue Line corridor through Huai Khwang and Ratchada is the natural catchment, with Rama 9 the upgrade option.

Check the school's bus catchment before you sign — a home that looks close on a map can sit outside the route, and a home on the route can be twenty minutes further away and still be the easier morning.

What to confirm directly with the school

BAANLYY deliberately does not publish per-school tuition figures: they change annually, schools publish their own current schedules, and a stale number is worse than none. Take this list to the admissions office:

• Which campus your application is for — Bangkok and Reignwood Park are different schools in practice, in different provinces, with different commutes.
• The current fee schedule — tuition, application and registration fees, any refundable deposit or capital/development levy, uniforms, lunches, the bus and trips.
• Whether the year group you need has a place, or a waitlist, for your intended start date.
• School bus routes, catchment zones and pick-up times for the neighbourhood you are considering — these matter more than straight-line distance in Bangkok traffic.
• Entry requirements: assessments, interviews, English-language support and the school reports or transcripts you must supply.
