Buriram Technical College at a glance
Buriram Technical College (BTC) is a public vocational college at 322 Jira Road, Mueang Buriram District, under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), Ministry of Education. Its own admissions announcements confirm it enrols students at three levels -- vocational certificate (ปวช.), higher vocational certificate (ปวส.) and bachelor's degree -- with the degree track being the Bachelor of Technology (ทล.บ.) in practical technology, applications for the 2568 (2025) academic year having opened 20-24 March through the OVEC central admissions system.
That bachelor's-degree capacity is not visible from the college's name. Thai technical colleges confer degrees not in their own right but through a regional Institute of Vocational Education, and Buriram sits in the Nakhon Chai Bu Rin grouping -- Nakhon Ratchasima, Chaiyaphum, Buriram and Surin -- served by the Institute of Vocational Education, Northeastern Region 5. BTC focuses on hands-on technical training in fields such as engineering, automotive technology, electronics and computer science. This worker could not independently confirm BTC's founding year from sources reached during research -- flagged rather than guessed.
