Public university · founded 1933 · Bang Phra, Si Racha District, Chonburi
The Bang Phra campus traces its roots to 1933, when it opened as the Bang Phra Agricultural School serving surrounding farming communities. It grew through several rounds of expansion and renaming over the following decades before being folded, in 1990, into the newly formed Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok (RMUTTO) -- one of nine Rajamangala University of Technology institutions created nationwide from Thailand's network of technical and vocational colleges. Bang Phra sits on Highway 3144 (Saen Suk Road) in Si Racha District, and functions as RMUTTO's main campus alongside sister campuses in Bangkok (Uthenthawai and Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth) and Chanthaburi.
Consistent with its agricultural-school origins, Bang Phra retains strong agriculture, fisheries and animal-science programs, now paired with engineering, business administration and technology faculties -- serving both the traditional farming communities around Si Racha and the manufacturing and logistics workforce of the wider Eastern Seaboard.
