Private university · founded 1987 · Khlong Tamhru, Mueang Chonburi District, Chonburi
Sripatum University's Chonburi Campus is a satellite of the private, Bangkok-based Sripatum University, approved by the Ministry of University Affairs in 1987 and formally opened on 19 July 1987 under the patronage of HRH Princess Chulabhorn. It sits at 79 Bangna-Trad Road, Khlong Tamhru Subdistrict, Mueang Chonburi District, and was substantially expanded in December 2000 with the opening of a 14-floor multipurpose academic building presided over by HRH Crown Princess (now Her Majesty Queen) Sirindhorn.
The campus is positioned as the private-university option serving the Eastern Region, offering both undergraduate and master's degree programs across business, engineering and related fields, taught by full-time faculty -- a contrast to Burapha University's much larger public-university scale in the same city.
