Cranberry International School (CIS) is Lampang's best-documented international school and the only one in the province with a conventional, currently-reachable official website. It was founded in 2013 as an international preschool and grew into a full English-immersion primary school; its own current site emphasises small class sizes, a close-knit culture and individually tailored instruction rather than a named curriculum. As of 2026-08-20 the school is plainly trading and contactable, but its website has been restructured and the pages that used to set out the curriculum, the Thai Ministry of Education licensing position and the top grade taught have been removed. Our earlier review (2026-07-08) recorded a US Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards core with AERO and California State Standards elsewhere, Thai language and culture, supplementary Chinese from Kindergarten 1, an OPEC licence rather than an outside accreditation such as CIS or WASC, and a Nursery-to-Primary-Grade-6 range. None of that is currently confirmable from the school, so it is reported here as dated. The practical point for a relocating family is unchanged and is the single most important fact on this page: Cranberry has no secondary programme, so a child enrolled here will need a follow-on school, and you should establish the exact top grade and the licensing position in writing before you commit to a lease near the campus.
Where this school starts, and where it stops
Youngest intake: Nursery. The school has run early years since it opened in 2013 as an international preschool, and it is the youngest English-medium intake anywhere in Lampang.
Oldest year taught: Primary. Our 2026-07-08 review recorded Primary Grade 6 (about age 12) from the school's then-published About page; that page is now a 404 and the current site does not restate a top grade. Treat Grade 6 as the last figure we could verify rather than a confirmed current one, and ask for the year-group list in writing.
What a leaver holds: None. A child leaves at the end of primary with a school record, not a qualification -- and then needs a secondary plan, in Lampang or elsewhere.
Evidence status: PARTLY DATED. Verified live 2026-08-20: the school is trading, was founded in 2013, and describes itself as a small-class "boutique" school; address, telephone (+66 90 674 3899), email (cisoffice@cranberry.ac.th) and Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00 office hours are current. NOT re-verifiable 2026-08-20: the US Common Core / NGSS and AERO-California curriculum description, the OPEC licence, the Thai language and culture and Kindergarten-1 Chinese components, and the Grade 6 ceiling.
