British National Curriculum with a Montessori-influenced early-years approach; Early Childhood, Primary and Lower Secondary levels · 24/1 Chalermprakiet Road, Tambon Prabat, Lampang
St. Helier-Brelade International School was permitted to operate in 2021 and is Lampang's newest international school, founded by the same leadership as the longer-established BISN and, per a Bangkok Post trade-press interview with that school's deputy director, deliberately positioned as a restart against BISN's maturing business cycle. It teaches the British National Curriculum with a Montessori-influenced early-years programme across Early Childhood, Primary and Lower Secondary levels. Lower Secondary matters more than it sounds: it makes St. Helier-Brelade the only school in the province documented to teach past primary at all, and it is the reason a family with a nine- or ten-year-old has a genuinely different set of options here than they did before 2021. It is also, just as importantly, still not a route to eighteen. Plan the upper-secondary step separately and early. Note too that the same leadership stands behind both BISN and St. Helier-Brelade, so the two schools are not the independent alternatives a directory listing makes them look like -- a point worth raising directly if you are comparing them.
Youngest intake: Early Childhood, on a Montessori-influenced approach.
Oldest year taught: Lower Secondary, per the school's own published level list -- so roughly Year 9 / age 14. This is the furthest any Lampang international school is documented to teach, and it still stops well short of 18.
What a leaver holds: None documented. Lower secondary is not an exit point with a qualification attached, so a child leaving St. Helier-Brelade at the top of the school still needs an upper-secondary destination -- realistically Chiang Mai, or a Thai national stream.
Evidence status: CURRENT but thin. The school has a reachable official website and a 2021 operating permission. Enrolment, staffing and class sizes are not published.
