Ramkhamhaeng University, Nakhon Ratchasima Regional Campus at a glance
This is the entry that changes what the province looks like, and it comes with a caveat in the same breath. Ramkhamhaeng is Thailand's national open university, and its regional campuses let a resident study for a recognised Thai bachelor's degree without relocating and without giving up a job — which for most of the adults reading a relocation guide is the only realistic route to a Thai qualification. Nakhon Ratchasima has one of these campuses. Not one page on this site mentioned it before September 2026.
The caveat is the address. The campus is at 139 Moo 7, Tambon Tha Ang, Amphoe CHOK CHAI, Nakhon Ratchasima 30190 — telephone 044-375234 or 081-0686894. Chok Chai is a separate district roughly 30 km south-east of Korat city on Highway 24, not a suburb of it. A unit named for the province is not necessarily in the province's main city, and here it is not.
Its opening hours are worth stating because they are the point of the model: the campus's own contact page gives Monday to Sunday, 08.30–16.30. Regional campuses are built around students who work during the week, and this one is open at the weekend.

- In Amphoe Chok Chai — about 30 km south-east of Korat city — not in Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima.

Worth recording for the next run: five consecutive guide-depth runs had found ru.ac.th hosts returning empty bodies to our fetcher, and this regional-campus host returned in full — the failure is per-host and per-page, not a dead domain.
