A commonly repeated but incorrect claim online is that a stand-alone "Sukhothai Rajabhat University" exists — it does not appear in Thailand's official 38-member Rajabhat University system and has no findable official site, so it is deliberately left off this list. Likewise, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University shares its name with the province but its actual campus is in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, near Bangkok — not in Sukhothai itself.
