Thailand National Sports University's Trang Campus is a full bachelor's-degree campus at 90 Trang-Palian Road, Thung Krabue Subdistrict, Yan Ta Khao District -- roughly twenty kilometres south of Trang town, and the only degree-granting campus in Yan Ta Khao. It began life as Trang College of Physical Education, which settled at the Thung Krabue site on 3 June 1986, later became a campus of the Institute of Physical Education, and was renamed again when the Thailand National Sports University Act reconstituted the whole national network as a university in 2019.

It is the one institution in Trang Province that answers to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports rather than to the higher-education, health or vocational ministries -- which is exactly why directories built around the usual university lists tend to miss it. Its three faculties are Sports Science and Health, Liberal Arts, and Education, and it trains a large share of southern Thailand's physical-education teachers and sports-science graduates.
