Southern International School Hat Yai (SIH) opened in 2015 at 789 Rajuthit Road, in the heart of the city — the most centrally located of Hat Yai's three international schools. It blends the International Primary Curriculum with the English National Curriculum in primary, moving into the Cambridge International Curriculum in secondary, leading to IGCSE examinations in Year 11 and AS/A-Levels in Years 12–13. SIH holds the ISQM Silver Award and is a full member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT), with small class sizes of roughly 15–20 students.
