This is the Thung Yai area of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya's Nakhon Si Thammarat campus, at 133 Moo 5, Thung Yai Subdistrict, Thung Yai District -- inland in the south-west of the province, a long way from both the provincial capital and the coast. RMUTSV itself is a public university created by the Rajamangala University of Technology Act of 18 January 2005, out of the older Rajamangala Institute of Technology network.
Thung Yai is the campus's land-based science cluster. The university's own structure places four faculties here: Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Agro-Industry and Science and Technology. If you are relocating for work in Thai agribusiness, aquaculture, food processing or veterinary practice in the south, this is the campus that matters -- and it is a rural posting, not a city one.
