Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (Songkhla Academic Service Unit) at a glance
Separately from Mahapanya Vidayalai, MCU itself teaches in the province through an academic service unit (หน่วยวิทยบริการ) attached to its Nakhon Si Thammarat Buddhist College. Like the Ramkhamhaeng branch it carries the province's name and stands in Hat Yai district -- beside Wat Hat Yai Sitaram, at Moo 1 on the Sanambin--Lopburi Ramet road in Tambon Khuan Lang.
It runs MCU's bachelor's programme in Buddhist Studies, with the degree awarded by the university rather than by the unit. Two MCU-connected bachelor's routes therefore operate within a few kilometres of each other in Hat Yai, which is easy to miss because neither is listed under the city's name.
