Two Songkhla institutions people expect to find here
Both are in Songkhla province and neither is in Hat Yai district, so neither is listed above — but both are close enough to commute to, and it is better to say where they are than to leave you guessing.
- Songkhla Rajabhat University (SKRU) — main campus at 160 Kanjanavanich Road, Tambon Khao Rup Chang, Amphoe Mueang Songkhla. Kanjanavanich Road is the Hat Yai–Songkhla artery, so the campus is on the road out of Hat Yai rather than in it.
- Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Songkhla — the province's Ministry of Public Health nursing college, at 64 Ramvithi Road, Tambon Bo Yang, Amphoe Mueang Songkhla, down by the old town.
