UWC Thailand is an independent, non-profit international day and boarding school at 115/15 Moo 7, Thepkasattri, Thalang, set at the foothills of the Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Sanctuary in northern Phuket. It was officially opened in 2016 by Queen Noor of Jordan as the 16th member school of the United World Colleges movement, following several years of planning and site development. UWC Thailand runs a full IB continuum -- the Primary Years Programme for early years and primary, the Middle Years Programme for grades 6-10, and the IB Diploma Programme for grades 11-12 -- with both day and boarding places, reflecting the UWC network's mission-driven, values-based approach to education.
