Royal Thai Police — Immigration Bureau, Rayong Immigration Office
Rayong's provincial immigration office moved into a purpose-built new facility in Map Ta Phut, Mueang Rayong District, operational since 1 October 2025. The previous office had become severely overcrowded because it served the entire Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) — the industrial and investment zone spanning Rayong, Chonburi and Chachoengsao — and simply could not handle the volume of foreign nationals working and living in the area.
The new building sits on roughly 49.27 rai of Treasury Department land and was designed specifically to support EEC-driven demand, with AI-assisted processing to speed up queues, a solar roof for part of its power, and on-site police accommodation. For most Rayong-based expats this is now the correct office for 90-day reporting, extensions of stay and related paperwork — older guides or map listings referencing the previous Maptaphut address may be out of date.
Address: 28 Soi I-1 (I-Nueng Road), Map Ta Phut Sub-district, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong 21150
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-4:30 PM, closed Saturday, Sunday and Thai public holidays.
Phone: +66 38 684 544
Getting there: In the Map Ta Phut area close to the industrial estate, a short distance from central Rayong city — a Grab, metered taxi or private vehicle is the practical option, as the office is not on a public transit line.
