It is the best base in Pattaya if you value convenience and social life over quiet. Malls, beach, restaurants, nightlife and transport are all walkable, and it has the city's deepest supply of affordable condos. Those who want calm, swimmable beaches usually prefer Jomtien, Pratumnak or Wong Amat.
