Phang Nga College of Agriculture and Technology was established on 21 February 1977 (B.E. 2520) as part of a push to extend agricultural vocational schooling down Thailand's Andaman coast. It sits at 43 Moo 7, Phetkasem Road, Tham Subdistrict, Takua Thung District, Phang Nga 82130 -- telephone 076-496451, fax 076-496528.

The college is the only post-secondary site in Takua Thung District, the district immediately between Phang Nga town and the Sarasin Bridge crossing to Phuket, and the only agricultural institution in this registry. Its own published programme information covers vocational certificate (ปวช.) and higher vocational certificate (ปวส.) study, admitting ปวช. entrants from M.3 or equivalent across several fields.
