Every institution that awards a degree in Samut Prakan
Each card says what the institution is and who confers its qualification, because those are two different things here more often than not. Two of the six are campuses of universities seated elsewhere, one is a military academy that is not open to civilian entry, and one is a state technical college whose degree is conferred by an institute in another province.
How this list is counted
The question we ask is what awards a degree inside this province, not what universities are here. Those give different answers, and the second one is how Samut Prakan ended up looking like a province with one university. Assumption University is seated in Bangkok, so it does not appear in a search for Samut Prakan universities — yet its own admissions site assigns the undergraduate degree programmes to the Suvarnabhumi campus at Bang Sao Thong. Dhonburi Rajabhat is named for a district of Bangkok. And a vocational college does not read as higher education at all until you notice it has been conferring a Bachelor of Technology since 2016.
Two honest limits. Dhonburi Rajabhat’s own history pages returned an empty body on every request we made this run, so we publish no campus land area or campus founding year for it. And the Royal Thai Naval Academy is in this list because it awards degrees, not because it is an option — entry is by naval cadet selection.
