The province's state higher-education presence is a campus of Dhonburi Rajabhat University, on Soi Thetsaban Bang Pu 119 off Sukhumvit Road in Bang Pla sub-district, Bang Phli District. Teaching in Samut Prakan began after the university's conversion from institute to university under the Rajabhat University Act of 2004, and the campus now runs full undergraduate and postgraduate provision of its own rather than acting as an outreach centre.
Its own site publishes four intake routes and a single posted tuition figure of 12,000 baht per term: a weekday four-year track for school and vocational-certificate leavers; a Sunday-only "special" track taught as block courses over fifteen terms; and credit-transfer versions of both for holders of the higher vocational certificate, taking two years on weekdays or eight terms on Sundays. That Sunday pattern matters for anyone weighing the province as a base -- it is built for people already working in Samut Prakan's factories and logistics estates.
Honest limit: the university's own history pages returned an empty body every time we requested them this run, so we publish no campus land area and no campus founding date here. The address, the intake tracks and the posted per-term figure are taken from the campus's own live site.
