Sarasas Suvarnabhumi Institute of Technology at a glance
Bang Phli also holds a small private institute that most Samut Prakan round-ups miss entirely, partly because it changed its name recently. Founded as the Suvarnabhumi Institute of Technology (SVIT), it was renamed Sarasas Suvarnabhumi Institute of Technology by a Ministry of Higher Education announcement published in the Royal Gazette on 27 January 2025 and effective from 8 January 2025 -- making it the first higher-education institution of the Sarasas school group. Its own website still carries the former name throughout, so both names remain in circulation and you will meet each of them.
The institute sits on a compact site its own pages give as 10 rai 29 square wah at 55/56 Moo 7, Soi Sam Mit, on the Nam Daeng-Bang Phli road in the middle of Bang Phli town, about 300 metres from Sarasas Witaed Suvarnabhumi school and roughly 1.5 km from the Bang Phli district office. It describes itself as an institute rather than a university, focused on producing bachelor's and master's graduates in technology and management with strong language skills, and it also runs an academic service centre at Ban Bo, Mueang Samut Sakhon.
