Hua Hin is primarily a resort and retirement town, not a university town, and its genuine higher-education field is small. Suan Dusit University's Hua Hin Campus, built on Airports of Thailand land since 2005, is the one institution BAANLYY could independently confirm is actually sited within Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Two other universities are commonly associated with the Hua Hin area but are not actually within Hua Hin district or Prachuap Khiri Khan province. Stamford International University markets a "Hua Hin Campus", but the university's own official site lists its real address as 1458 Petchkasem Road, Cha-am, Phetchaburi 76120 -- a different province, roughly 25km north of Hua Hin. Silpakorn University's Phetchaburi Information Technology Campus is sometimes loosely described as serving the "Hua Hin area", but it too sits in Cha-am, Phetchaburi Province. BAANLYY does not profile either as a Hua Hin entity for this reason, to avoid misleading relocating families about which province their chosen campus actually sits in -- both are genuine, well-established universities, just not physically in Hua Hin/Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Primary and official sources are cited above. Government rules, fees and procedures in Thailand change over time and vary by office; always confirm current requirements with the relevant authority before relying on them. BAANLYY never takes paid placement in editorial content.
